DesiPeeps is a passion project that I'm building and running on my own. I genuinely care about making this a great space for our community, and I'm working hard to improve it every day.

Since it's just me, things might take a little longer to fix or respond to — but I promise every message gets read and I'll do my best to address any concerns that come up. Your patience means the world.

Why DesiPeeps?

Growing up desi abroad, I noticed something: we're everywhere, but it's surprisingly hard to find each other. You move to a new city, and finding people who get your culture — who want to play cricket in the park, cook biryani together, or just hang out without having to explain what Diwali is — that takes effort.

Social media is great, but it's not built for this. Facebook groups are noisy, Reddit is anonymous, and Instagram is for scrolling — not for actually meeting up. There was no place designed specifically for desi people to find local activities, join hobby groups, or connect with roommates who share their background.

That's why I built DesiPeeps. It's a space where South Asians — whether you're Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Nepali, or from anywhere in the diaspora — can find their people. Not just online, but in real life. Local activities, real connections, zero algorithm games.

DesiPeeps is free to use and built with one goal: making it easier for our community to stay connected, wherever we are in the world.
